Do you want to learn, grow and explore in
an international environment?
Are you interested in gaining experience in an international environment and looking for an opportunity to further develop your skills? We are looking for dedicated part-time and full-time interns with an interest in the translation industry. At our offices in Berlin, we offer internships in the following departments:
Social media management
You will be working with the content marketing team and will engage with online communities, manage and monitor Facebook and LinkedIn posts. You will be able to utilize your creativity, contribute to social media campaigns, and create new content strategies. Ideally, you study marketing, business administration or linguistics, and speak Russian.
Do you love our vision and services? Great! You will be approaching potential clients, prepare new sales strategies and do real-life networking for our company. Ideally, you study business administration or marketing, or have an academic background in linguistics or translation and an entrepreneurial mindset, and additionally speak a Slavic language.
Translation and freelancer management
Are you passionate about languages and want to gain more experience in management? You will be contributing to translation projects, hiring new freelance translators and dealing with our clients' needs. Ideally, you have a study background in linguistics or translation and additionally speak a Slavic language.
About internships at AccessEast
We kindly encourage all highly motivated young professionals to contact us and discuss how they could fit our establishment. We are looking for dedicated and hard-working individuals with a can-do attitude to contribute to our vision.
In order to provide the best experience for both sides, we prepare a plan prior to the beginning of the internship and discuss progress at weekly meetings. We consider your wishes and interests when assigning the weekly and monthly tasks. As a modern company, we do not enforce strict time-management. Instead, we encourage you to work independently and express yourself creatively, giving you a chance to make a substantial contribution to our business.
What we can offer
We think it is important that your internship fits into the path to your career goals. We will give you responsibility and creative freedom while taking on your own projects. There will be a mentor assigned to you who helps you grow in the field you are doing your internship in. You absolutely won't make us coffee or print documents all day long!
Additionally, AccessEast Translations is based at Factory Berlin, a business club with a network of over 3000+ international entrepreneurs. You will have the possibility to expand your network with like-minded, entrepreneurial people from all over the world and will be able to benefit from the perks the business club has to offer.
How to apply?
We highly encourage students and graduates who are fluent in different languages to apply for an internship at AccessEast. If you have a different study background than mentioned in the description, we still encourage you to apply: we believe that diverse teams bring better results.
Does this sound interesting? Please email your CV and a motivation letter, including your internship expectations (what you would like to learn) and any relevant links to your online presence (eg. LinkedIn or your personal website), to email@example.com. At the moment our internships are unpaid. However, we believe in long-term relationships and, if the fit is right, we can investigate more permanent arrangements.
"My internship at AccessEast has allowed me to develop both my professional and interpersonal skills. Prior to my internship, my mentor and I discussed how I could contribute to the company and what areas interested me. My expressed wishes were taken into account and I have been immediately entrusted with challenging tasks through which I gained invaluable experience. With the guidance of a professional and friendly mentor, I have managed to hone my skills in the areas of my interests, while being treated like an equal member of the team."
